Please remember that costing a cake, preparing a quote, emailing or texting and sending example photos etc, can take up a lot of my time. A lot of other cake designers even charge a consultation fee for this. I do not.

Therefore, even if you don't wish to continue with an order after receiving your quote, I would appreciate it if you would let me know immediately, so that I can let other potential customers know if a time-frame reserved for creating your cake, has become available or not.

Also, if you do wish to accept your quote, please also let me know straight away. I would also need a deposit to be paid within 1 week of ordering, to confirm the order. Designer cakes can take weeks, even months, to create. I have to plan ahead, therefore, if I do not hear back from you within a week I cannot guarantee that I will still have time to create your cake.

Please understand that I have to plan my calendar carefully to ensure that all my customer's orders are prepared and delivered on time.
